It’s not something that Santa brought, but I think Jesus Christ was by far the best Christmas present. Also my children!

An Alvarez guitar. That was the biggest surprise I’ve ever gotten from Santa! I never used to ask for anything on particular but that year I wanted a good guitar so bad and never expected to actually get one. I will always remember that special Christmas morning!

I never believed in Santa, wasn’t something we did. The best gift I’ve ever been given for Christmas was my clarinet. I’ve gotten plenty of things that were more expensive or more fun… but I remember how happy and thankful I was when I got it. Nothing has ever quite topped that feeling, and it was about ten years ago, so it was definetly the best!

A couple of years ago one of my sons drove all the way from IA to NC to surprise his dad and I for Christmas. Time spent with those you love is the best present.

My best Christmas present was the “birth” of my daughter in 1984. After a difficult 12hrs of labor, it was decided to do an Emergency C-section. I barely had time for the epidural. It all turned out
t and she’s now 28 yrs old and married to a wonderful man.

One year when I was about 12 my folks surprised me with a stereo…not just any stereo…one of those console stereos. It was about 5′ long and not only had a turntable and AM/FM radio, it had an 8 track player, too! Best gift ever!

My wife and some of my friends from church all pitched in to by me a Bible that will last me until Christ returns. It was definitely my favorite gift ever.

The best Christmas gift I ever got was several years ago. I was a single dad, just had a terrible car wreck, was injured and completely broke. Had nothing to give my 2 daughters for Christmas. I didn’t even have a Christmas tree. Didn’t tell ANYONE, because I didn’t want anyone to feel sorry for me. Out of nowhere, someone from my church who didn’t know me called and said that their bible study group wanted to adopt me and my girls for Christmas. My sister called, and offered me her extra Christmas tree. And some people at my sister’s job approached her with money to give me to buy my girls Christmas. And NO ONE knew how badly I was hurting and that I had nothing! I was totally blown away by God’s goodness. I will NEVER forget that Christmas!
