This is the generation that will abolish abortion

Something Positive To End The Day – Why I Was In Tears Reading My E-mail

Last night I had the privilege of speaking for the Shelby Country Right To Life in Sydney, OH. I was super excited to be able to speak so close to home, just 18 miles away. I do so much in other cities, states and even countries, I was blessed to be able to minister locally.

Anyone who knows me and the work of Stand True, knows our heart is to educate, equip and activate the young people to stand up and be a voice for their generation. Last night, I only saw a few young people in the crowd, it was mostly an older crowd. Now don’t get me wrong, I love speaking to anyone and getting anyone excited about pro-life work, I just have a special place in my heart for youth ministry.

The talk went very well last night and I even received a couple of speaking invites from those who were in attendance. I had a wonderful time and after talking with many of the attendees we packed up the booth and headed home. I had a long night because once I got home the news of the budget “sellout” was breaking, I stayed up until 3:00 AM reading comments and writing my response.

I went to bed discouraged and woke up in a bad mood. We worked so hard on the fight to defund Planned Parenthood and I really thought the Republican leaders would take a stand and not back down. When I opened my e-mail this morning I assumed I would just remain in a bad mood for the afternoon; I was wrong.

I got an e-mail from one the attendees of my talk last night that put me in tears; tears of joy. I knew it went well last night but I had no idea how much God had moved. Here is a excerpt from the e-mail I received:

Thank you for coming to our meeting, I truly believe that it will prove, that the RTL has to go to the young teens and twenties and get them fired-up about the Sanctity of Human Life. My Son was completely blown away. He kept talking about you all morning, “He was real, not some boring pro-lifer, he sees hope in a crazy upside-down world” “Mom, know I get why your so up-in-our-face- about this pro-life thing, GOD isn’t going to cut us any breaks, the house, bryan was talking about could be ours.

WOW, you got through to my teenage son!!! Thank YOU!!!

I knew God was showing me that I had nothing to be in a bad mood about, we may have seen a defeat in the Senate, but what we are seeing more and more is a generation who is standing for life. This is honestly just one of thousands of e-mails and stories I here about young people who are waking up to the truth of what is happening to their generation. I started to think about Andy from New Zealand, Liesbeth from Belgium, Michael from Germany, Dom from Wales, Becks from Ireland, Joe from Scotland and so many more young people who have seen the truth and are raising their voice.

What happened with this young man is not to be credited to me, but only to Christ. I have simply answered the call Christ has put on my life and He is using me to advance His kingdom and share the truth. The same can be said about all the other names I mentioned, they have seen the truth and have let God use them to shine His light.

We may not be happy with what happened last night in the Senate, I know I am not. We must, however, remember the battle is the Lord’s and if we stand on His truth we will be victorious. Planned Parenthood will continue to be exposed, they will be defunded and they will fall. Abortion will be abolished and innocent children will be protected from the culture of death that has a choke hold on our country and the world.

In 1997, I wrote something that fits today, it is three simple sentences:

You will not silence my message.
You will not mock my God.
You will stop killing my generation.

For Christ I stand,
Bryan Kemper

Bryan, I am praying for an end to abortion too! And also for your conversion to the Catholic Church as I am “trying” to make my way there too. I am now attending an evangelical church and doing my best to make my way completely to the Catholic Church but it has been so hard.

    Blessings,

    Sylvie
