Langston Hughes wrote a poem entitled, “I, Too” in which he dreamed of a day when African Americans would not be shunned. This simple poem speaks volumes about the human person and the struggle to attain equality. Corrie Ten Boom wrote a book entitled, “The Hiding Place” in which she talked about her days in a concentration camp. She was not Jewish; she was imprisoned and tortured for hiding Jews in her home because she believed they were equal human persons. Rosa Parks sat down and refused to get up a seat she was told she had no right to sit in. She decided that she was no longer going to be told that she was less human than anyone else on that bus. Anne Frank wrote in her diary, “I don’t think of all the misery but of the beauty that still remains” – this coming from a young woman having to live in a hidden apartment for two years because she was declared a non – human person. Martin Luther King, Jr. cried out, “I have a dream.” He believed in a world where men were not looked at as black or white, but as men. He believed we could live as equal human persons and destroy the prejudices that plagued mankind. What do all these people have in common? Some may say oppression. Oppression is certainly a word that can be used to describe all of their lives. Can you imagine yourself as a young girl like Anne Frank living in a small hidden apartment for two years, never allowed to leave for fear of certain death? Some may say determination. Langston Hughes was determined to see a day when our African American brothers would not be seen as less than any other American. Some may say courage. I can’t imagine the courage it took for Corrie Ten Boom to risk her own life and freedom for total strangers. She endured years of torture and even found a way to thank God for her bunk being infested with fleas, knowing it saved her from abuse. Some may say resolve. Oh, to see the resolve in the face of Rosa Parks on the bus that day! It would be amazing to see her claim her spot as an equal human person and refuse to be dehumanized. Some may say passion. Passion is one of the best words you can use to describe Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. When you hear his speech you can’t help but be moved. While all of these words are truly things these great humans had in common, there is one other thing that makes them stand out from others who have been dehumanized: their voice. They all had a voice and were able to use that voice to cry out for their lives, their freedom and their humanity. A voice is something that thousands of innocent people every day in America will never have. Can you imagine if a child in the womb Read More »

A new undercover video was released this morning by the Center for Medical Progress, further exposing the sales trade of human body parts for profit in America. In this video, Cate Dyer, the CEO of StemExpress is seen joking about fully intact babies and how to ship them. No matter how many claims of editing people want to throw out there, it is very clear what is going on in these conversations. One of the most glaring things talked about in this new video was volume, how many body parts are actually harvested from Planned Parenthood. Dyer talks about how much of a high volume organization Planned Parenthood is, which is in direct contradiction to one of Planned Parenthood’s biggest talking points, the “three percent” lie. Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life said, “We have consistently maintained that Planned Parenthood profits from the sale of baby body parts. This video shows that clearly. Making a profit on the sale of body parts is against federal law. Despite the convictions of some abortion advocates, Planned Parenthood is not above the law. It is time to hold them accountable for their actions, and it is time for us to hold our public officials accountable for their responsibility to properly investigate and prosecute this illegal enterprise.” After you watch this video, please share it on every social media channel you have. We are also excited to introduce the new, “Defund, Shutdown and Prosecute Planned Parenthood” t-shirt available now at prolifeworld.com
Abortion Supporters Plan Counter Protest On Saturday, August 22 public protests of Planned Parenthood (PP) abortion clinics and facilities will take place all over the United States. Thousands are expected to attend these protests with the purpose of creating awareness of the barbaric practice of abortion and the sale of aborted baby body parts — a scandal that has erupted in recent weeks due to undercover videos released by the Center for Medical Progress. Currently, there are over 300 cities in 47 states and 5 countries represented in the nationwide protest. What: Protest PP’s disrespect for human life, harvesting and selling of aborted baby parts Where: Over 300 Planned Parenthood facilities across America. (See cities) Stand True will be at the Dayton, Oh location – https://www.facebook.com/events/1466667340321902/ When: August 22, 2015 from 9:00am-11:00am For more information, go to ProtestPP.com Radical pro-abortion groups have organized counter protests in several cities. “We are going to be out there … it’s up to us to make a big noise,” Sunsara Taylor, founder of StopPatriarchy.org, said recently in the Washington Times. Recently released videos have shown the results of Planned Parenthood’s barbarous trade of killing babies and harvesting and selling their body parts. Mark Harrington, Created Equal’s National Director: “We don’t just want to defund Planned Parenthood; we want to defeat Planned Parenthood. We cannot only look to Washington, DC and our state governments to end the killing. It is up to each of us individually to take ownership over our own neighborhoods to stop Planned Parenthood and end abortion altogether.” #ProtestPP is the largest demonstration against Planned Parenthood in their 99 year history. Eric Scheidler of Pro-Life Action League: “These videos are exposing the American people to the truth about Planned Parenthood and the truth about abortion. How can you deny the humanity of a tiny person whose body parts are being harvested for medical use? Worse yet, how can you make jokes about it, like the Planned Parenthood doctors do in these videos? It’s time to cease all taxpayer funding of this corrupt organization.” #ProtestPP involves prayer, speakers and holding signs that read #PPSellSBabyParts. Monica M. Miller of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society comments: “When PP technicians are scavenging through the body parts of aborted babies to find tissue that they hope to sell, this adds a whole new gruesome and ghoulish layer to the already highly controversial practice of abortion in America. It’s bad enough that Planned Parenthood is profiting from abortions–but on top of that they exploit the bodies of their murder victims for additional revenue. It is the abortion providers themselves who describe what they do as violence.”
I am not even going to write about this video, it speaks for itself. Once you watch this video please go to protest.com and join us this weekend as thousands of people in hundreds of cities around the nation will raising their voice against Planned Parenthood.
Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life and a long-time pro-life activist, has long said he’s not just fighting abortion, he’s working to end it. His new book, Abolishing Abortion: How You Can Play a Part in Ending the Greatest Evil of Our Day (Thomas Nelson, HarperCollins Christian Publishing), released today, outlines a strategy to end abortion in the United States. In the book, Father Pavone explores biblical, moral, historical, and legal reasons Christians belong in the public square and challenges both churches and individual Christians to full engagement. Abolishing Abortion calls upon both the Church and the State to step up and fulfill their duties to protect the unborn child. It provides readers with legal facts, political strategies, and theological rationales for getting engaged and being effective. Endorsed by a who’s who of political and pro-life leaders, Abolishing Abortion details how 1973’s Roe v. Wade ruling actually changed the kind of government we have in the United States and guides readers through practical steps they can take to restore the democracy the Founding Fathers had in mind. Those who have endorsed the book include Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback, who said Abolishing Abortion is a “stirring call to both church and state to protect the unborn.” Presidential hopefuls Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum have likewise endorsed the book. Abolishing Abortion hits bookshelves at a time when Americans are being presented with a series of undercover videos recorded at Planned Parenthood facilities, revealing the horror of their activities. Father Pavone’s book actually outlines the strategy that leads to these undercover projects, explains their power, and outlines the practical follow-up action that needs to be taken. Father Pavone said that through Abolishing Abortion, he has tried to express and spread the passion that he and so many others have for ending child killing. “This book goes to the core of what we have to do to end abortion,” he said. “It openly and honestly discusses the failure of both the state and the church in this regard, and offers practical solutions, strategies and steps forward in which we can all take part.” Abolishing Abortion can be ordered at www.AbolishingAbortion.com
