Jeanne worked as delivery nurse at New York Hospital at night while fighting abortion by day. After fighting against the New York state abortion law in 1970 she co-founded the Manhattan Right to Life Committee and Birthline Hotline in 1972 and later the Metropolitan Right to Life Foundation in 1987. Jeanne is currently in the board of National Right to Life and is VP of International Affairs. She is an active presence and voice for the unborn at the United Nations.
