WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Charlotte Pence, a best-selling author and daughter of Vice President Mike and Karen Pence, will speak at the March for Life Youth Rally on Jan. 23 in Washington, D.C.

Priests for Life Youth Director Bryan Kemper will again serve as master of ceremonies and speak at the event that annually draws more than 1,000 young people to the grand ballroom of the Renaissance D.C. Downtown Hotel. Doors will open at 1:45 p.m.

“We have a fantastic line-up of speakers this year and I am so fired up,” said Kemper. “This is definitely the generation that will end legal child killing in our country. When I look out at the young people gathered every year at the Youth Rally, I know the unborn are in good hands.”

Other speakers at the event will include Allie Stuckey, host of the Christian and conservative podcast “Relatable,” and Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood director whose story is told in the movie “Unplanned,” and for whom Priests for Life National Director Father Frank Pavone has been a spiritual guide.

The Christian band The Restless also will perform.

“These young people know they are survivors; they were not protected during the first nine months of life. So as they speak up for the children in the womb, they are also speaking up for themselves. And they want to learn what they can do to end abortion in their own school, church, and community. That is why, as we bring so many leaders together to address them, we provide them, and their families, with concrete, practical resources and ideas that save lives," said Father Pavone. "And we tell them that they are not simply future leaders of the pro-life movement; they are leaders in the movement right now."

The event will be live-streamed and can be seen on Priests for Life’s online broadcast channel www.EndAbortion.TV and the various social media and internet video platforms linked from there.

Priests for Life is the world’s largest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated exclusively to ending abortion.

Pro-life efforts are working. The abortion rate in America is the lowest it has been since Roe v. Wade and in recent years states have passed more than 400 laws to protect the unborn. There are now 710 abortion businesses in the U.S., down from 2,179 in 1991, and President Trump has placed 172 (and counting) pro-life judges on the federal bench.
