Nellie Gray

Nellie Gray was an incredible woman who served with the Women’s Army Corp during World War II before going on to earn a MD at Georgetown Law in Economics. She worked for the Government for 28 years before retiring to work full time in pro-life, founding the March for Life in 1974. In 1977 she spoke in opposition to abortion at the National Women’s Conference on a panel with Lottie Beth Hobbs, Dr. Mildred Jefferson, Phyllis Schlafly and R.K. Dornan. She continued to lead the March for Life until her passing in 2012.
