Every year tens of thousands of courageous students are willing to take a stand in their schools no matter what anyone says about them. They face teasing, taunting and sometimes people screaming in their face or pushing them around and they still stand true to their commitment to be a voice for life. By taking a vow of silence on this day they create a larger buzz then any words can; they actually are speaking louder in silence then if they talked.
If you are a student we encourage you to go to silentday.org and register to participate in this years event, it is totally free of charge.
If you are an adult who cannot be silent because of work, we ask you to give up something else on Tuesday and spend the day in prayer for these amazing students as they take a stand.
Last year we heard back from 64 girls who canceled their abortions because of the Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity and dozens of kids who changed their hearts and are now pro-life. These are just the ones we have heard back from, we have no idea how many lives were actually saved but we do know that just one live makes this whole day worth the effort.
The Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity is a project of Stand True and Priests for Life and is co-sponsored by LifeNews.com, Students for Life of America and Survivors.
Please help spread the word about The Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity to any students you know by send them to silentday.org.
